CAN-AM & CORONA

CALGARY, ALBERTA – Officials with the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region continue taking a cautious approach when it comes to event planning for the remainder of 2021.  Events which involve seated indoor gatherings (restaurants) are not being organized currently.  The focus for the time being will be on outdoor events like driving tours and picnics.  The only indoor events currently being planned are garage tours.  These ‘garage’ events are not expected to begin until late July or early August.  Organizing and participating in events has been tough for RROC members in the Can-Am Prairie Region.  The Province of Manitoba has some of the most stringent gathering restrictions still in effect in all of Canada.  All Coronavirus restrictions are expected to be lifted in the Province of Saskatchewan the second weekend of July.  Alberta lifted all Covid-19 restrictions on July 1st.  RROC members in the US State of Montana saw a majority of gathering restrictions eliminated back in May.
