Welcome to the Events and Road Trips section of the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region website.  Spring 2025 has officially arrived!!  Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Montana participated in dozens of events last year.  This year will be busy once again.

CLUB EVENTS

BRIT CARS & BREAKFAST

Calgary, Alberta

Thursday, April 17th

Calgary and area Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners gather for breakfast at Phils Restaurant on Thursday, April 17th.  This is our new monthly ‘get-together’ location for 2025.  Phils has been serving up delicious food (including breakfast) since 1956.  This is an RROC Can-Am Prairie Region social.  Non-members welcome to come out and meet with fellow Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners.  If road and weather conditions cooperate, consider bringing the PMC.  Plenty of parking at this Phils Restaurant located just east of Crowchild Trail on 16th Avenue NW (Trans Canada Highway).

 

 

DRIVE & DINE SUNDAY

Calgary, Alberta

Sunday, April 27th

Calgary and area members of the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region head to the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant on Sunday morning (10:00am), April 27th for the second social of spring.  Please let Alan Dixon know if you plan on attending with your spouse so reservations can be made at this award winning restaurant.  The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is located at 15759 Bow Bottom Trail in south Calgary.  If the weather cooperates consider bringing your PMC’s as safe parking will be available.

2025 events

Edmonton's 149th Street FifenDekel Cafe' will once again be opening its doors to owners of British Cars & Motorcycles the first Saturday of the month (May to September) in 2025.  British Cars & Coffee (or Tea) is organized in part by the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region.  More than 70 different British vehicles were part of last years inaugural 'season'.  Mark these 2025 British Cars & Coffee (or Tea) dates down.  We'll see you in a few weeks.

RROC ANNUAL MEET

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Tue.- Sat., May 27th - 31st, 2025

For the first-time in the 74-year history of the RROC, the State of Colorado will be home to an annual meet.  Colorado Springs, located 1-hour south of Denver, is the destination for Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners and the 2025 RROC annual meet.  The RROC Rocky Mountain Region rolls out the welcome mat Tuesday, May 27th – Saturday, May 31st.  Cheyenne Mountain Resort is the host hotel for the event.  Several incredible driving tours of the area are planned.  Special seminars on all Rolls-Royce and Bentley models will be held.  There will be a vendors market and of course a special field meet and awards banquet.

The RROC Can-Am Prairie Region looks forward to supporting/attending events hosted by other car clubs and organizations in 2025.   Many events, with potential and/or confirmed participation from Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners, are listed below.  Events that are British themed but located outside of our clubs region, will also be listed here as a courtesy.

BRITISH CAR SHOW

Langley, British Columbia

Sunday, April 20th, 2025

One of the earliest scheduled outdoor car shows in Western Canada takes place on the Easter Long weekend in British Columbia.  In celebration of St. George's Day, the Langley-Area Mostly British Motoring Club hosts their 20th annual British Motoring Show at the history Fort Langley Park (community hall) just north of Langley on Sunday, April 20th.  Pre-registration is highly recommended!!!  Show parking is not guaranteed for non-registered participants.  Show runs from 10am-4pm.  Registration fee is $20.00.

EASTER PARADE

Edmonton, Alberta

Sunday, April 20th, 2025

The Edmonton Antique Car Club holds its 62nd annual Easter Parade on Sunday, April 20th.  Members and invited guests will follow a pre-mapped route around the City of Edmonton after departing the 149th Street A&W at 1:30pm.  RROC Can-Am Prairie Region member Howard Lengert, also an EACC member, is expected to join the annual parade once again in 2025.

SOUTH COMMON CARS & COFFEE

The South Edmonton Common Cars N’ Coffee 2025 season opener takes place Sunday, April 27th from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  The Haweli Indian Kitchen (2104 – 99th Street) parking lot, just south of Part Source, is where you’ll be able to experience the best of automotive culture.  Owners of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche and other exotic marques are encouraged to attend.  Enjoy hot coffee and tasty donuts.  Members of the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region attended this event several times in 2024 and will be returning once again in 2025.  There are 5 South Common Cars N' Coffee events scheduled this year.

ALL BRITISH FIELD MEET

Sechelt, British Columbia

Saturday, May 3rd, 2025

Bricker Cider Orchards invites you to their 4th annual All British Field Meet the first Saturday of May.  A 40-minute ferry ride (BC Ferries) from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale kicks off your Saturday morning journey.  A scenic 32-minute drive on the Sunshine Coast Highway (BC 101) takes you to Sechelt, British Columbia which is home to The Bricker Cider Orchards.  BCO is located just 2.5 kilometers north of the Sunshine Coast Highway on Norwest Bay Road.  Car/motorcycle set up is from 9-11am.  Show opens at Noon.

CRUISIN THE DRAG

Great Falls, Montana

Saturday, May 3rd, 2025

The 25th anniversary of Cruisin' the Drag, Montana's largest car show, takes place Saturday, May 3rd in downtown Great Falls.  Registration fee for this all makes/all models show is $15.00 with monies raised going to the Great Falls Public Schools Foundation.  Live music and food vendors on site.   Meet special guests Christy Lee and Faye Hadley from All Girls Garage.  Downtown restaurants will have the OPEN signs illuminated.  Vehicle registration starts at 7:00am.  Show and Shine runs from 10:00am – 3:00pm.  25th anniversary Cruisin' the Drag event T-shirts and hats are now available.  Arrive on May 2nd and participate in the Friday evening poker run.  More than 750 vehicles were registered for last years show.

PROPS & PISTONS

Penhold, Alberta

Saturday, May 31st, 2025

The Red Deer Regional Airport host their 4th Props & Pistons Show and Shine event the final Saturday of May.  Last year’s event was held with the Red Deer International airshow.  For 2025, it’s back to the ‘normal’ show format.  This event will feature static aircraft displays and vehicle show and shine in support of the Red Deer Food Bank.  Vehicle registration starts at 8:30am.  The show and shine runs from 10:00am - 3:00pm.

NOTE: The Red Deer International Airshow returns in 2026.

NATIONAL FISH & CHIPS DAY

Worldwide!!

Although this special day originated in Britain, National Fish and Chips Day is now being recognized and celebrated worldwide.  Phone up your fellow British Car owner, go for a drive and head to your local fish and chips restaurant.  This day not only recognizes restaurants and pubs worldwide but also the fishermen.  National Fish & Chips Day celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025.

FRASER VALLEY CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Chilliwack, British Columbia

Sunday, June 8th, 2025

The Fraser Valley British Motor Club invites car owners to a very special show in support of the Chilliwack General Hospital.  Owners of British, N. American and European vehicles, manufactured before 1999, are welcome to attend.  The show will be held on the grass just off Dieppe Street and Caen Avenue at the Fraser Valley University.  Pre-registration is recommended ($25.00).  Last year organizers were expecting around 100-cars.  A total of 155 cars ended up on display (63-British // 77-N. American // 15 European).  The FVBMC raised a total of $19,265 thanks to car show entrants and monies raised from several special raffle draws including a 1962 MGB.  At this years show, a 2005 Mini Cooper convertible will be raffled off as part of the fundraising.

Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners join MG, Mini, Jaguar, Rover and Lotus owners at Victoria Park in the beautiful river valley near Downtown Edmonton.  The show, organized by the Alberta All British Motoring Society, starts at 11AM and runs till 3PM.  Come see more than 100 cars on display on the grass.  Spectator admission is FREE. (Car registration is $20.00)  Non-perishable donations to the Food Bank will also be accepted on site.

BRITS BY THE BESS

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan once again turns British for a day in 2025.  The 25th annual Brits by the Bess takes place on Sunday, July 13th hosted by the Saskatchewan British Car Club.  Close to 100 British vehicles will be on display along 21st Street right in front of the Bessborough Hotel.   The show runs from 11am - 4pm.

EURO CLASSIC CAR MEET

Calgary, Alberta

Saturday, July 19, 2025

The Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary hosts the 2025 European Classic Car Meet at Stanley Park on Saturday, July 19th. This is Alberta largest gathering of European vehicles featuring British, Italian, German, French and Swedish vehicles. Touring cars, sports cars, motorcycles and hundreds of rare and exotic sports cars will be on display from 10:00am – 4:00pm.  Close to 5,000 attended last years event which saw over 250 vehicles on grass show field.  Gates open at 8:00am for field parking.  All participants in the show must be on the grass by 10:00am. Pre-registration is encouraged ($20).  Spectators are free.

HERITAGE CLASSIC CAR SHOW

Steinbach, Manitoba

The Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach, Manitoba hosts the annual Heritage Classic Car show on Saturday, July 19th.  This is a fun event for the entire family.  Heritage buildings provide an incredible backdrop for this unique car show.  Step back in time and see history from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s.  Various classes of awards for car show entrants.  Pre-registration is encouraged.  On-site registration starts at 8AM.  Show runs from 11AM – 4PM.
