COFFEE CRUISES

EDMONTON, ALBERTA – The first of five scheduled British Cars and Coffee/Tea events for 2024 in Edmonton took place on Saturday, May 4th.  This automotive social, organized in part by several members of the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region, is an outreach to British car owners.  For the season kick-off, a total of 13-British cars were on display.  Three Rolls-Royce and one Bentley were joined by a nice mix of Jaguars, Triumphs and MG’s.

The automotive social was held at the 149th Street Fifendekel Café which is normally closed on weekends.  Doors opened to the Café at 9:00am where participants enjoyed Breakfast sandwiches and complimentary Coffee and Tea.  The sit down atmosphere inside the ‘Fife’ added to the “social” part of the morning.  Owner/ manager Jackie Fenske was happy with the turnout and is looking forward to the next automotive social event at the same location on Saturday, June 1st.

Two other events that Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners support in Edmonton are the weekly Ferrari Club and the monthly South Common Cars and Coffee gatherings.  The South Common Cars and Coffee season kickoff was Sunday, April 28th.  Edmonton’s Ferrari Club will once again host weekly Cars and Coffee events in south Edmonton starting May 9th.
