Welcome to the Road Trips and Events section of the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Rolls-Royce Owners Club.  The Can-Am Prairie Region celebrates this milestone with several special events in 2026.

CLUB EVENTS

BRITISH CARS & COFFEE

Edmonton, Alberta

Saturday, June 6th

The second British Cars & Coffee/Tea of 2026 takes place Saturday, June 6th.  The Fifendekel Cafe', located at 12028 - 149th Street, opens its doors to owners of British vehicles for an automotive social from 9:00am till 11:30am.  There will be breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon buns, pie, coffee and tea.  It's a perfect Saturday morning out with your spouse or significant other.  This event is organized by the RROC Can-Am Prairie Region as an outreach to other British Car clubs in the Edmonton area.  A total of 5 British Car clubs were represented at the last British Cars & Coffee/Tea event in May.

BREAKFAST MEET

Calgary, Alberta

Thursday, June 11th

Calgary and area Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners gather for breakfast at Phils Restaurant on Thursday, June 11th.  This became our new monthly ‘get-together’ location last year.  Phils has been serving up delicious food (including breakfast) since 1956.  This is an RROC Can-Am Prairie Region social.  Non-members welcome to come out and meet with fellow Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners.  Plenty of parking for PMCs at Phils located just east of Crowchild Trail on 16th Avenue NW (Trans Canada Highway).

DRIVE & DINE

Rosebud, Alberta

Thursday, June 18th

RROC Can- Am Prairie Region members head to the community of Rosebud, Alberta northeast of Calgary in the Alberta Badlands on Thursday, June 18th for a special mid-day/mid-week social.  The Rosebud Theatre School of the Arts, which combines food, incredible hospitality and live theatre, presents the family musical Anne of Green Gables.  Buffet and Live Theatre tickets start at $99.00.  On your own or group drive.  The group drive will meet at the Delacour Community Centre at 10:30am for the 50-minute scenic drive to the theatre in Rosebud.

GARAGE TOURS

Edmonton, Alberta region

Summer 2026

Several 'Garage' socials are planned for the summer of 2026 in the Edmonton, Alberta region.  RROC members invite Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners to their homes for special garage tours.  Jacks Garage returns for the fifth year in a row. The tentative date is set for Tuesday, July 14th.  Ian Fleming, the 007 James Bond author, was fond of the Studebaker Avanti.  Jack Ondrack has acquired an Avanti to add to his Fleming automotive fleet of tribute cars which include a Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Ford Thunderbird.  Two other RROC members are circling a summer date on the calendar to hold there very own Garage tour social event.  All Garage Tour events will be RSVP.  Watch your inbox for dates and invitation.

FRANKS ON THE FARM

near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Wednesday, June 24th

Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners are invited to a special Wednesday evening social.  The owner of Edmonton's Fifendekel hosts Franks on the Farm which takes place on the evening of Wednesday, June 24th.  Enjoy a nice drive in the country to the destination northeast of Edmonton.  Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and listen to live music while enjoying the picnic menu of BBQ Hotdogs, Fifendekel and Ice Cream.  Business owners and acreage neighbors are also invited to this social.  This is an RSVP event.  The official invitation will be emailed out on June 10th.  Special invitations will also be sent out to local British Car club members making for a spectacular display on the grass.

The RROC Can-Am Prairie Region is proud to support/attend events hosted by other car clubs and organizations.  Events with potential or confirmed participation by Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners will be posted here.  Events with a British theme, not held in our region, will also be posted as a courtesy.

BRITISH CAR WEEK

Worldwide!!!

Sat, May 30th - Sun, June 7th

Owners of British cars, trucks & motorcycles are encouraged to uncover their machines and go for a drive!!  This is the 30th annual 'worldwide' British Car Week.  Phone up your fellow British vehicle owners and visit a local Fish & Chips shop or go for a country cruise and wrap-up the drive with some ice cream.  The goal is simple..... enjoy your British vehicle!!

 

4th annual SHOW & SHINE

County of Parkland, Alberta

Clymont Hall, located southwest of Edmonton on Highway 60, hosts its 4th annual Family Fun Day and Show & Shine.  This family friendly event will feature Bouncy Castles for the Kids and a Petting Zoo.  The all makes & models car show is held on the grass.  Plenty of food and cold beverages.  This is a no admission fee event.  The show field opens up at 9:00am.  Show & Shine runs from 10:00am - 3:30pm.  Several RROC Can-Am Prairie Region members are expected to attend this event.

FISH & CHIPS DAY

Worldwide!!!

Friday, June 5th

National Fish and Chips day originated in Britain back in 2015 as a way to recognize restaurants, pubs and also fishermen.  Since then the official Fish and Chips 'acknowledgement' day has spread worldwide.  Britain’s favorite comfort food will again be celebrated the first Friday of June.  Phone up your fellow British Car owners on Friday, June 5th , go for a drive, head to your favorite local Chippy and indulge!!

BRITISH INVASION CAR SHOW

Langley, British Columbia

Saturday, June 6th

The Old English Car Club hosts the 2026 Brits On The Beach on Vancouver Island. Transfer Beach in Ladysmith, British Columbia is home to this All-British show & shine event on Sunday, July 12th.  Entries limited to a maximum of 250-vehicles. There are no registration fees for the big show, however a donation to the Ladysmith Food Bank is encouraged.  Show starts at 10:00am.  Food trucks will be on site plus swap meet tables.

BRITISH CARS AT IRISH BARS

Regina, Saskatchewan

Sunday, June 7th

The Saskatchewan British Car Club is proud to present the 9th annual British Cars at Irish Bars on Sunday, June 7th.  Ohanlon’s Pub located just north of Victoria Avenue on Scanlon Street provides the atmosphere and the parking.  The event runs from 11am – 4pm.

 

ALL BRITISH FIELD MEET

Edmonton, Alberta

Saturday, June 13th

Rolls-Royce and Bentley owners join MG, Mini, Jaguar, Rover, Lotus and many other owners for the largest All British show in Alberta.  This annual event is held on the grass in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley at Victoria Park.  The show is organized by the Alberta All British Motoring Society.  More than 100 vehicles will be on display.  Show starts at 10am and runs till 4pm.  (Car registration is $20.00)  Monies raised will go towards the Edmonton Food Bank.  Non-perishable donations to the Food Bank will also be accepted on site.

FATHERS DAY CAR SHOW

Winnipeg, Manitoba

Sunday, June 21st

A special Fathers Day British car show takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba the first full-day of summer.  The Wings and Wheels event is Sunday, June 21st at the Royal Aviation Museum (2088 Wellington Avenue).  Pre-registration is required as special parking has been arranged for car show participants.  There will be plenty of family friendly activities both inside and outside the museum.  Contact Will Lozie with the British Car Club of Manitoba to register by clicking on the event poster.

 

BRITS BY THE BESS

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Sunday, July 12th

Downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan turns British for a day once again in 2026.  The 26th annual Brits by the Bess show takes place Sunday, July 12th hosted by the Saskatchewan British Car Club.  Well over 100 British vehicles will be on display along 21st Street right in front of the Bessborough Hotel.   The show runs from 11am - 4pm.

EURO CAR SHOW

Calgary, Alberta

Saturday, July 18th

The Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary hosts the 2026 European Classic Car Meet at Stanley Park.  This is Alberta largest gathering of European vehicles which features British, Italian, German, French and Swedish vehicles.  Touring cars, sports cars, motorcycles and hundreds of rare and exotic sports cars will be on display Saturday, July 18th from 10:00am – 4:00pm for this family friendly event.  Organizers hoping to see close to 300 cars on the grass show field this year.  Gates open at 8:00am for field parking.  All participants in the show must be on the grass by 10:00am.  Pre-registration is encouraged ($20) to reserve a spot.  Spectators are free.  Monies raised goes to the Veterans Association Food Bank.

 

ROLLING IN THE ROCKIES SHOW

Canmore, Alberta

Saturday, July 26th

With the beautiful Canadian Rockies as a backdrop, the Rolling in the Rockies Show and Shine takes place Saturday, July 26th in Canmore, Alberta.  The Rolling Sculpture Car Club is hosting this incredible event on the grass at Centennial Park.  The show runs from 10AM – 3PM.  Plenty of live entertainment, 50/50 draws, food vendors and a silent auction.  Car registration is $20.  Monies raised goes to local charities including purchasing equipment for the Canmore Hospital.  Several RROC Can-Am Prairie Region members will have their cars on display at this years show.
