IT WAS A COLD AND SOGGY NIGHT
CALGARY, AB (September 12th) – On a cold, soggy and windy Tuesday evening, brave owners of British vehicles gathered for a special rescheduled Euro Cars and Coffee event in Calgary, Alberta. The Ferrari Club of America (Alberta Chapter) hosts a Euro show and shine event every Tuesday night. Once a month the FCA features a specific marque at their gatherings. Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini were in the spotlight back in May, June and July.
Last month’s British night was unfortunately rained out so organizers rescheduled it to the second week of September. The good news is the rain managed to hold off for most of the 3 hour gathering Tuesday night. Jackets however were zipped up tight thanks to strong winds. The vehicles on display were spectacular. Two vintage Mini Coopers, already small in stature, looked even smaller parked next to Rob’s 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II. Terry had his 1958 Silver Cloud on display. Don arrived in his 1990 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II Mulliner. The local dealership brought several Aston Martins and Bentley’s to add to the British car atmosphere.
