THE PRAIRIE LADY ARCHIVES - 1970's

The very first RROC Can-Am Prairie Region newsletter was published in August of 1977.  Ironically our newsletter was without an official name for almost a full decade.  The Prairie Lady title doesn’t appear until the late 1980’s.  For simplicity sake, all the ‘early’ newsletters in the archives are referred to as The Prairie Lady.  More than 150  Prairie Lady newsletters have been published and distributed since 1977.  Despite a limited number of newsletters from the 1970's its still believed that all have been accounted for and preserved.  Hard copies of the newsletters can be found in the library at the Hooper Coachbuilders tribute building located on the grounds of the Leduc West Antique Society (Leduc, Alberta, Canada).
